What the...?

When and how did we end up here
This place devoid of merriment and joy
Suddenly so full of life and potentiality
And the confusion that encounters the progression of two minds interacting together
Engaged bodies and souls linked suddenly like vines intertwined
Chaotic yet natural exploration of another being, another being
Both so new to this life, both so seasoned and proud
Both so scared and alone and transitioning poorly into adulthood
Suddenly, instantaneously, completely intimate.

I truly do not know how I feel about this one.
